“hey, this is my new number. isaak”
– i found a way to motivate people to call. i send them the above message.  they are confused as they have had my number for years. some call back and ask what it is about. then i tell them i thought they did not have my number, because they never use it.

refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, recycle
refuse, if you can do without it reduce, if you cannot reuse, if it is possible repair, when it breaks recycle, when it is dead you do not have to be a saint to protect the environment and save resources.

listening to podcasts i prefer to have the headphone cord underneath my sweater. everytime i unplug myself from it, i pull it out to the top, and i feel like neo from the matrix when he gets rid of his feeding tube.

Steve Jobs 1980 Footage [Computer History Museum] →
aeoliantimes: This is a video of Steve Jobs in 1980. It is amazing to see how he stayed focused on the company’s goals all these years. He speaks about his saying “computers are like bicycles for our minds” as well as how and why “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. He also explains why Apple is named Apple. Incredible footage.  Thank you to the Daring Fireball for posting this.

a theory i like
ali and tyson, both in their prime are forcibly removed from the boxing world. the former due to resisting to go to war, the latter due to alleged rape. there are a lot of conspiracy theories out there. i recently heard one that was convincing.  betting both, ali and tyson, were so dominant that they ruined the betting quotas and made it hard for the mob and others involved in illegal betting...
